On 6th of July, we had made a trip down to The Face Shop for training at Kallang. WOW, the trainer teach us lots of things that we will never had a chance to learn it outside such as the types of products and their usage.
We were being taught the basic steps of cleansing, they are categorized into morning and evening steps. Products used in morning skin care may not be needed to be use in evening skin care cleansing steps, we are going to let you know what you should do to maintain your perfect skin.
6 Steps for Morning Skin Care:
First we have to use the cleansing cream/oil/lotion (base on your skin type), next you will need a Toner to close the pores and soften the skin. Thereafter, you will need to use the Eye Cream(Serum) and Essence(Serum) this is to provide hydration and prevent wrinkles. Not only protecting eyes, you will have to use the Emulsion also known as moisturiser, that will provide moisture on your face and creates a protective barrier. Last but not least, we will need to apply the Sun Protector.
DO YOU KNOW: SPF 1 only protects you from the sun ray for about 10 - 15 minutes therefore different SPF can protect us under the sun for different number of hours. Hence choose the right one for yourselves.
7 Steps for Evening Skin Care:
First we have to use the cleansing cream/oil/lotion (base on your skin type), next the Toner. After the toner, put up a mask to let your skin absorb the maximum amount of water molecules. Thereafter, you will need to use the Eye Cream(Serum) and Essence(Serum). Last but not least, apply special care cream or night cream that is highly concentrated which will help to rejuvenate the skin and let us look younger and fresher the next morning.
Another Tips for you:
1) The shelf life for most of the skin care products / lip care / cleanser / mask pack is 3 years before opening.
2) Store all your products in a cooling area [bathroom is not an ideal place]
3) Ensure water does not enter the products [WHY? because the PH level is different]
4) Ensure the lid is tightly closed
5) Wipe off and remove the residue around the spouts [to keep bacteria away]
It is such a good opportunity for us to go on this trip. Stay tune for our next fieldtrip/training. Ending this with our group photo, see you next week :)
