Sales analysis workshop

Our little "amazing race" was held last Thursday.
Learning came alive when sales analysis were taught through solving riddles and interpreting hints
Developing great teamwork and creative thinking were part and parcel of this activity
However, to emerge champion, it is also essential to also think fast act fast
Through this workshop, we understood that learning need not be confined within classroom but knowledge can also be picked up through games and fun
Lastly, we would like to congratulate all teams! good effort everyone!

Customer Service Day!

Last friday was customer service day.
A day of recognition and a day of feedback.
For the good there was the pleasure of praise and the astounding applause
For the bad there was the lessons learnt as well as the improvement ideas.
There was a market service survey conducted and the response was overwhelming.
In this video below, the interviewee gave kind comments of "very good" to the service of valueshop.
It affirms and encourages us to continually provide the best service to our customers.
It is our way to thank them for patronising our stores.

Attention!!

Due to the A H1N1 influenza virus also known as swine flu, we have decided to take precautionary measures in order not to let there be any outbreak in Nanyang Polytechnic as well as in Singapore. To educate more people of the influenza virus, OPS have done a poster for your

Sadly, with the Swine Flu epidemic going around, NYP has to take some extra measures to ensure our students are kept healthy and safe from the flu. Therefore we have some new implementations which will help us in keeping swine flu at bay. TEP of course will do it's best to increase and maintain hygene standards in MSC.

So follow these few simple rules and regulations and continue to have fun in school!

v Do NOT come to school if you are sick
Ø (Temperature above 37.6°).
v Get an MC to cover your absence.
v Take your Temperature at the Auditorium when you reach school.
v Your Admin card is required for you to go through temperature taking procedure.
v Make sure you get your GREEN Sticker and have it on at all times on campus.

First Customer Service Workshop!

Hello!

We had our first Customer Service workshop last Thursday! It was overall a pleasant one. We had team building games such as blanket game and taboo during the workshop to break the ice among students. It was enjoyable as everyone was sporty and enthusiastic.

Besides having fun during team building games, we were taught the 6 steps of providing better customer service. The students are separated into 2 teams and they are supposed to act out the 6 situations where we could apply the 6 steps to providing better customer service within 5 minutes! Interesting! Hahah not to worry, everything is captured and you can load and watch them below (: (: I have to tell you all, some of them are born actors and actresses.

At the end of the day, we have benefited from this enriching and enjoyable workshop and most importantly, understand the importance of striking a balance between work and play.
