Did you know that there is a difference between Checks and Plaids?

Notice that the pattern of checks is simpler as compared to plaids.

Therefore, all of us are in combinations of Checks and Plaids today!

Be it Checks or Plaids, the most important factor is that all of us are dressed smartly and well!

It is exactly a week away from the brand new lunar new year!

To all Chinese friends: Which CNY goodie/s are you most looking forward to?

For me, I am looking forward to Lou Hei (Also known as Prosperity Toss or Yu Sheng) and Steam-Boat!

After eating the various CNY goodies, do remember to drink lots of water to replenish moisture and flush out toxins from your body! 

Red Packets (Ang Bao)

  After the end of the first lunar month of CNY, I give all money collected from Red Packets to my mother for her use.

Why? If she did not provide other children/relatives with Red Packets, I will not be able to receive as much successfully. 

If you are keeping them, always save and spend only when there is a need!

Red Packets and any amount of its contents are blessings from all givers!

Let the origins and real meaning of Red Packets remain in us always!

To all non-Chinese friends, what do you plan to do during your break?

To all Chinese friends, have you done your shopping on items needed by loved ones and you? 

(It is okay not to shop too; loving, cherishing all people around us and embracing new beginnings are the key in the Chinese New Year!) 

My message goes out to all people as well, no matter what race and religion you are from and under!

Time to move our hands and foot to do serious tidying and cleaning up for our year ahead!

As you flip and tidy up your things, who knows what surprises you may stumble upon as well?

Embracing the New Year, we are in #GardenFloralThemed today!

Can you feel the vitality, breezes of freshness and its upbeat that the theme brings?

Everyone is perked up! 

 

 In this theme, I feel that our ladies are like cherries, while our gentlemen are akin sturdy trunks/fresh leaves!

With the Spring Season coming along in countries with seasonal changes, our theme of Fashion Friday this week is yet timely and avant-garde.

In this New Year, may all of us flower and bloom!

Nonetheless, we must truly believe and have strong faith in our lives, capabilities and future. 



Just like how plants endure harsh weather conditions, they still bloom and flower as brilliantly and bright. We are able to do that too.
