Watsons' Field Trip

We made a trip down to Watsons' flagship store in Ngee Ann City on the 20th this month. The main objective of this field trip is for us to check on what kind of products that are suitable to be put on sale in MSC. 2 person-in-charges were sent down to brief us about Watsons' background, history and also the company's vision and mission. Afterward, the manager of the store led us to walk around the store and gave us some rough explanations about the company's house brand and also the current hot-selling products. Other than that, she also explained to us how they actually arrange their products and racks and where to allocate them so it could be more convenient and easily found by the customers. She also showed us how they put the current hot-selling products and how they push the products, so that it could gain more of the customers' attention. 









After all the explanation had been done, we actually spent some times walking in the store on our own and took a good look at products that we think are suitable for sale in MSC. We took photos and noted down the prices of the products. The week after, all zones, including Cheers students, came up with PowerPoint slides of suitable products and reasons on why the products were chosen.
